Round 1 A shot catches Karl off balance and off guard. Arosio spears him but can only manage to make it to guard. Santiago Arosio pushes down Karls leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Arosio opens a cut over the eye of Karl. The doctor takes a look at it, and says he's okay to continue. Santiago slips out of half guard and into side control. Santiago lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Arosio drops some hammer fists on Mitchell. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Karl snaps back the head of Arosio with a stiff jab. Santiago Arosio is staggered by a jab to the chin. Santiago takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Santiago Arosio eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Karl Mitchell. Santiago Arosio takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Mitchell takes a punch and goes to the mat, Arosio pounces into side control. Mitchell recovers quickly. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Arosio circles Mitchell, mixing jabs with body shots. Arosio connects with a strong right hook. Karl Mitchell attempts a lazy shot, which Santiago sprawls, eventually taking Karl Mitchell back. Arosio tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Karl starts to wiggle out of back control, Arosio lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Santiago circles Karl Mitchell, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Santiago Arosio fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Karl Mitchell. Round 3 is over.
