Round 1 Reinhard Lima snaps back the head of Alex Ryan with a stiff jab. Alex grabs for a clinch but Reinhard Lima grazes him with an uppercut. Alex staggers back, then surprises Reinhard Lima with a powerful superman punch. Alex is staggered by a jab to the chin. Alex eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Reinhard. Reinhard Lima circles Ryan, landing jabs at will. Reinhard gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Alex Ryan ducks and weaves through a quick combo from Lima and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. Ryan takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Ryan circles Reinhard, landing jabs at will. Alex works Reinhard Lima into a corner, swimming for double underhooks. Alex presses his head into Reinhard Limas chest, forcing him to the ground. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Reinhard Lima snaps back the head of Alex with a stiff jab. Alex Ryan shoots in on Reinhard but cannot finish the takedown. Reinhard lands a couple of knees to the head, forcing Alex Ryan to roll to his guard. Reinhard drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Ryan gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. Reinhard Lima is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Reinhard Lima telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Ryan gives up his back to stop the attempt. Ryan slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Reinhard Lima throws a cross that easily dodged by Alex Ryan. Ryan is staggered by a jab to the chin. Round 3 comes to a close.
