Round 1 The fighters circle each other. The fighters circle each other. Moore keeps Grenier at a distance with some well timed jabs. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Moore is jockeying for position in the clinch. Fred works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Moore throws a cross that easily dodged by "Kid". Fred Moore eats a jab,jab, then a hook from "Kid". Cassidy Grenier fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Moore. Fred Moore attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Grenier pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. "Kid" stuffs a shot from Fred and hits him with an outside body shot. Fred gives up on the takedown and pulls guard. "Kid" takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Fred Moores guard. It doesn't pay off as Fred makes his way to standing. Cassidy Grenier narrowly dodges a cross from Moore, but falls catching him in his guard. Cassidy Grenier sets in an omaplata, forcing Moore to roll through, giving Cassidy Grenier side control. Grenier lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Fred Moore gives his back in an attempt to get out of side control. As Cassidy Grenier spins around to take it, Fred Moore makes his way back to his feet. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Fred connects with a series of punches forcing Grenier into a clinch. Fred Moore places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Cassidy drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Moore sets a guillotine choke but Cassidy slips out at the last moment. Cassidy is now caught in guard. Fred Moore begins to work the rubber guard. "Kid" tries to pass guard but Fred Moore stops him with a well timed punch. Fred Moore attempts an armbar from the bottom, but Cassidy Grenier slips out at the last moment. Fred Moore attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Round 3 is over.
