Mendoza rushes forward to capitalize but Bo stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. The fighters circle each other. Bo eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Mendoza. Ruy Mendoza lands a devastating overhand right on Bo. After dodging a jab, Ruy Mendoza lands a kick to the ribs of Bo who winces in pain. Bo attempts to clinch, but Ruy connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Ruy Mendoza lands a solid kick to the inside thigh of Bo. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 After dodging a jab, Bo lands a kick to the ribs of Mendoza who winces in pain. "Slims Shady" connects with a series of punches forcing Mendoza into a clinch. "Slims Shady" connects with a stiff knee to the chin. Ruy is dazed on the mat. Bo lays into "Frenandezs" thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. "Frenandez" does so. Mendoza keeps Hayes at a distance with some well timed jabs. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Bo Hayes grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that cuts Ruy Mendoza under the eye. Hayes attempts a lazy shot from the tie up, Ruy capitalizes by taking his back. Round 2 is over.
