Round 1 "Sauveur" eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Branden. Branden keeps Lacroix at a distance with some well timed jabs. Branden Stevens ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Pascal to the mat, and his back. Lacroix rolls back into being mounted. Stevens maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Lacroix attempts to escape mount but has no luck. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 "Sauveur" connects with a strong right hook. Branden Stevens narrowly dodges a cross from Lacroix, but falls catching him in his guard. Branden attempts an armbar. Pascal time a spin perfectly landing a strong overhand as he works his way into Brandens guard. Pascal presses the action while in the guard, but Stevens is able to switch him into mount. "Sauveur" attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Pascal attempts to escape mount but has no luck. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Lacroix throws a cross that easily dodged by Stevens. The fighters circle each other. Lacroix snaps back the head of Branden with a stiff jab. Pascal is staggered by a jab to the chin. "Sauveur" throws a cross that easily dodged by Branden Stevens. Stevens fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing "Sauveur" to a corner. "Sauveur" swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Round 3 is over.
Round 4 Pascal takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Stevens narrowly dodges a cross from Pascal Lacroix, but falls catching him in his guard. Branden Stevens goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Pascal Lacroix slips out at the last second. An heel strike attempt is dodged by Pascal Lacroix and he traps Brandens extended leg to move to half guard. Stevens tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Lacroix slips out of half guard and into side control. Branden gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Branden starts to wiggle out of back control, Pascal Lacroix lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Branden throws a cross that easily dodged by Pascal Lacroix. The round comes to an end.
Round 5 Lacroix fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Branden Stevens. Pascal places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. While tied up, Stevens is met with a hard uppercut. The fighters circle each other. Branden Stevens takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Lacroix snaps back the head of Branden with a stiff jab. Pascal Lacroix attempts a takedown, but Branden Stevens clumsily falls down without much provocation. Pascal lays into Brandens thighs with some well timed kicks while Branden Stevens is grounded. The bell signals the end of round 5.
