Round 1 Nobu Okui throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Doug Patterson puts Nobu Okui on the mat giving his back up. Doug slides off to the side of Okui and lands several heavy knees into his ribs. Before he can lose the position, Doug switches back to full back control. Okui starts to wiggle out of back control, Doug Patterson lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Patterson shoots in for a double leg, hoists Nobu Okui up, and slams him viciously to the mat, taking side control. Doug slides his knee across the body of Nobu and takes full mount. Doug Patterson maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Doug Patterson throws one straight shot after another to the the chin of Nobu Okui. The ref stops it.
