Round 1 Masaru presses forward and grazes Lange with a combo. Lange wants none of the stand up and clinches with Masaru to then savagely throw him down to the ground. Michael drops a huge strike to Mizumakis chin, landing into his guard. Mizumaki connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Michael drops a few strong punches, opening up Mizumakis guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Masaru pulls Michael Lange close to avoid a flurry of strikes. Masaru gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Mizumaki eats a few stiff shots from Lange, and rolls giving mount to stop the ref from ending the fight. Lange throws some outside strikes at Mizumaki. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 A shot catches Lange off balance and off guard. Masaru Mizumaki spears him but can only manage to make it to guard. Michael attempts to transition to the butterfly guard but Mizumaki is too quick and takes half guard. Michael tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Michael hits an upward elbow on Mizumaki, and attempts to get to full guard. During the scramble though Mizumaki takes side control. Masaru Mizumaki lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Mizumaki drops some hammer fists on Lange. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Mizumaki parries Michael Langes jab and lands a liver shot that buckles Michael Lange. Michael Lange rolls to his back with Mizumaki standing over him. Mizumaki drops a huge strike to Langes chin, landing into his guard. Masaru dodges a few strikes from Michael and cuts him over his eye with a axe-handle strike. Michael is starting to bleed over his left eye. Masaru drops a few strong punches, opening up Langes guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Michael Lange pulls Masaru Mizumaki close to avoid a flurry of strikes. Michael Lange gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Masaru lands a series of heavy punches forcing Michael to roll to his back, giving Masaru mount. Masaru throws some outside strikes at Michael Lange. The round comes to an end.
Round 4 Michael Lange narrowly dodges a cross from Masaru, but falls catching him in his guard. Michael shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Michael backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Michael Lange is staggered by a jab to the chin. Masaru parries Michaels jab and connect with a cross.
