Round 1 Wood fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Christian to a corner. Christian swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. "Kimai" drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Christian Bennett attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Christian throws a cross that easily dodged by "Kimai". "Kimai" circles Christian Bennett, landing jabs at will. An outside leg trip puts Billy Wood into side control. "Kimai" attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Christian Bennett for his troubles. Billy Wood attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Bennett for his troubles. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Billy is cut open under the eye by a standing elbow strike. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Bennett lands some solid knees to the legs of Wood from the clinch. Christian stomps the feet of Billy Wood. Bennett grabs the plum and lands several knees to the legs Billy Wood. Christian fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Billy. Billy Wood receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Christian Bennett. Christian grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that puts Wood on the floor. A solid kick bruises the leg of Wood. Christian lays into Woods thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Wood does so. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Christian is brought to his back by a well executed takedown from Billy Wood. Billy Wood now has side control. Billy attempts an armbar, but Christian stops the attempt. Billy uses the oppurtunity to take mount. Bennett shifts his head and hips to keep "Kimai" off balance and unable to land strikes. Bennett gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Billy Wood tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Christian tripods up, causing Billy Wood to fall forward. As Billy Wood tries to scramble up Christian lands a lunging hook, putting Billy Wood on the ground. Christian stands up and looks to the ref to force Billy Wood into standing. The ref does not comply. Round 3 is finished.
