Round 1 Watnabe attempts a lazy shot, which Bousquet sprawls, eventually taking Watnabe back. Paul Bousquet tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Watnabe starts to wiggle out of back control, Bousquet lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Paul wraps around Kentas waist, and drags him to his back, taking side control Bousquet slides his knee across the body of Kenta and takes full mount. Paul Bousquet secures his position. Kenta Watnabe pulls Paul close to avoid a flurry of strikes.Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Kenta keeps Bousquet at a distance with some well timed jabs. Kenta Watnabe eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Paul Bousquet. Paul Bousquet begins to clinch with Kenta, but Kenta presses out of it burning up quite a bit of energy. Paul Bousquet ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Watnabe to the mat, and his back. Paul Bousquet is working a furious pace on Kenta Watnabe, intermingling strikes with positional dominance at will. Paul slides off to the side of Watnabe and lands several heavy knees into his ribs. Before he can lose the position, Paul switches back to full back control. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Watnabe narrowly dodges a cross from Paul, but falls catching him in his guard. Paul attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Kenta Watnabe slips out of it at the last moment. Kenta starts to create some distance with his legs, Bousquet capitalizes by passing to side control. Kenta Watnabe takes a few knees to the body while under Pauls side control. Paul Bousquet slides his knee across the body of Kenta Watnabe and takes full mount. Kenta lands a good elbow as Bousquet lowers his torso. Paul Bousquet secures his position. The bell signals the end of round 3.
