Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Damian Reinhold throws a short elbow at Erik. Damian recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Erik is cut open by a standing elbow strike. The ref stops the fight. The doctor take a look at the cut and determines Erik can continue. Erik weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty hook. Reinhold takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Phillips begins a combination but Reinhold ducks down, picking Eriks leg. Reinhold lifts Eriks leg as high as he can and throws a sweeping leg kick. A solid kick bruises the leg of Erik. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Reinhold grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow to the head of Phillips. After dodging a jab-cross, Reinhold lands a kick to the liver of Erik Phillips who steps back and begins to take a knee. Reinhold rushes forward to capitalize but Erik Phillips stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Reinhold circles Erik, landing jabs at will. Reinhold fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Erik. Damian connects a few knees to the upper torso of Phillips. A strong elbow forces Erik to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Damian kicks at the thighs of Phillips. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Damian keeps Phillips at a distance with some well timed jabs. Erik is rocked by a standing elbow strike. Reinhold presses forward landing a couple more strikes, but Erik survives the onslaught with well timed blocks. Damian Reinhold connects with a series of punches forcing Erik into a clinch. Reinhold breaks away from the clinch while delivering a knee. Phillips is hit with a hook and a shovel punch and stumbles backward. Reinhold explodes forward with a push kick that puts Phillips on the canvas. Damian Reinhold dances around Erik Phillipss legs and throws a hard kick to the body. Round 3 comes to a close.
