Pilaran rushes forward to capitalize but Smith stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Pilaran attempts a striking combination, but Smith forces the clinch. Randall Smith recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Pilaran Guzman connects with a right that puts "the Angle" off balance tumbling to the mat, as Pilaran Guzman towers over him. Pilaran Guzman attempts to drop a fist on Randall Smith, but misses and lands in his guard. Guzman lands an intense elbow that has Randall Smith rocked. Guzman lands an outside strike as he moves into side mount. Pilaran Guzman throws his knee into the ribs of Randall Smith. Pilaran Guzman lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Pilaran lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Randall Smith. Randall Smith attempts a striking combination, but Guzman forces the clinch. Guzman throws a solid knee to the jaw of Randall. Pilaran Guzman grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that puts "the Angle" on the floor. Guzman dances around Smiths legs and lands a powerful soccer kick to the head. Round 3 is over.
