Simmons grabs the plum and pulls Fortins face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Simmons lets go of the hold and lands a hook. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Fortin weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty hook. Simmons is staggered by a jab to the chin. Fortin connects with a right that puts Bruce off balance tumbling to the mat, as Fortin towers over him. Doc lays into Simmonss thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Bruce Simmons does so. Simmons is hit with a jab then hook to the body and stumbles backward. Doc Fortin explodes forward with a push kick that puts Simmons on the canvas. Bruce thrusts his leg into Fortins knee while grounded. Fortin lays into Bruce Simmonss thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Bruce Simmons does so. Bruces legs are wobbled by a strong hook to the temple then a shovel punch to the jaw. Bruce ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Fortin to the mat, and his back. Round 3 is finished.
