Christian backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Christian Bennett connects with a series of punches forcing Carpentier into a clinch. Christian connects with a stiff knee to the chin. Jacques Carpentier is dazed on the mat. A solid kick bruises the leg of Jacques. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 The fighters circle each other. Carpentier connects with a strong right hook. Jacques eats a stiff kick to the face. Jacques Carpentier is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Bennett. Jacques is knocked out cold from a left high kick.
