Round 1 Maita eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Hugh Cherry. Hugh Cherry parries a jab but leaves himself open for a hard cross that sends him to the canvas. Kuro follows with a falling punch into Cherrys guard. Kuro Maita backs out of the guard, and chooses to stand with his opponent, allowing him to his feet. Kuro Maita lands a hook to the body then a straight cross to the sternum. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. A strong elbow forces Hugh Cherry to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Kuro drops a huge strike to Hughs chin, landing into his guard. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Hugh is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Kuro Maita. Hugh Cherry is met with a hook cross combo that staggers him. Kuro explodes with a flurry of punches that ends with Hugh Cherry out on his feet. The refs steps in as Hugh Cherry cannot defend himself.
