Doc is staggered by a jab to the chin. Dominique connects with a right that puts Stevenson off balance tumbling to the mat, as Dominique towers over him. Round 3 Dominique Marchal fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Doc. Dominique gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. Dominique dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Doc Stevenson standing over him. Stevenson attempts to drop a fist on Marchal, but misses and lands in his guard. Marchal goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Stevenson slips out at the last second. Dominique connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Dominique lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Marchal attempts to create some space from his guard, but Doc sees the opening and passes to full mount. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
