Round 1 Rob Long parries Rozhdestvenskys jab and connect with a cross. Long fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Rozhdestvensky. "Nothing" attempts to grab the plum but is kept off balance by Dimitris strikes. Rob Long places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Dimitri Rozhdestvensky attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Rob Long pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. "Nothing" circles Rozhdestvensky, landing jabs at will. Dimitri is staggered by a jab to the chin. Rob Long comes forward, throwing a short hook that distracts Rozhdestvensky. Rob Long then grabs an overhook and uses a small outside-hook throw and takes side control. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 An outside leg trip puts "Nothing" into side control. Rob Long slides his knee across the body of Dimitri Rozhdestvensky and takes full mount. Dimitri pulls "Nothing" close to avoid a flurry of strikes. "Nothing" telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Rozhdestvensky gives up his back to stop the attempt. Rob peppers Dimitri with several shots to the face. Dimitri Rozhdestvensky slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Long parries Rozhdestvenskys jab and connect with a cross. Rob Long plows through Rozhdestvensky with a driving double leg takedown. Long tries to pass guard but Dimitri stops him with a well timed punch. Dimitri gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. Rob Long is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Dimitri gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Rozhdestvensky is able to make it back to the standing position. "Nothing" parries Dimitri Rozhdestvenskys jab and connect with a cross. Rob Long is hit with a jab but is able to slip a cross and grab a arm-triangle in standing. Rob Long trips Rozhdestvensky to the floor, landing in side control. The round comes to an end.
