Round 1 Ward parries a jab but is caught by a strong leg kick. Ward snaps back the head of Hughes with a stiff jab. Rich chips away at Owen with a series of kicks to the legs. Rich Hughes keeps Ward at a distance with some well timed jabs. A series of unanswered punches from "Gunplay" forces the ref to stop the action.
