Round 1
"The Dragon" sends Walt to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Kurata passes through Coxs guard into mount. Walt gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Walt Cox starts to wiggle out of back control, Masayuki lets him escape putting them both on their feet. "The Dragon" stuffs a shot from Cox and hits him with a hard hook to the temple and pushes him to take his guard. Masayuki Kurata drops a few strong punches, opening up "Panda Slayers" guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Walt Cox gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Kurata tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Kurata lands a series of heavy punches forcing Cox to roll to his back, giving Kurata mount. The bell signals the end of round 1.

Round 2
"The Dragon" throws a cross that easily dodged by Walt Cox. "Panda Slayer" narrowly dodges a cross from Masayuki Kurata, but falls catching him in his guard. "Panda Slayer" attempts an armbar from the bottom, but Kurata slips out at the last moment. Kurata takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Coxs guard. It doesn't pay off as Walt makes his way to standing. Kurata takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Walt narrowly dodges a cross from Kurata, but falls catching him in his guard. Cox sets in an omaplata, forcing "The Dragon" to roll through, giving Cox side control. Masayuki Kurata almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. The round comes to an end.

Round 3
Masayuki Kurata fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Walt Cox. Cox places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. While tied up, Walt Cox is met with a hard uppercut. Kurata takes "Panda Slayer" down to the mat with a good double leg takedown, leading to him standing over "Panda Slayer". Masayuki Kurata attempts to drop a fist on Cox, but misses and lands in his guard. Masayuki Kurata takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Walt Coxs guard. It doesn't pay off as "Panda Slayer" makes his way to standing. "Panda Slayer" narrowly dodges a cross from Kurata, but falls catching him in his guard. Masayuki Kurata drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. "The Dragon" drops a few strong punches, opening up "Panda Slayers" guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. The round comes to an end.
