Round 1 "The Nightcrawler" lands a solid kick to the front leg of Clark. Clark is staggered by a jab to the chin. Kirk strikes with a straight front kick. The fighters circle each other. Kirk keeps Martel at a distance with some well timed jabs. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 "Metal Jaw" moves in to press the action, but Kirk Allen lands a heavy back kick. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Metal Jaw" escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Kirk throws a crisp jab, but Clark slips it and moves in for the clinch. Kirk Allen works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Allen goes for a hip throw of his own, but Martel is able to counter it, sending Allen to the ground. Martel attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Kirk Allen for his troubles. Martel lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Kirk lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. Clark Martel attempts a striking combination, but "The Nightcrawler" forces the clinch. "The Nightcrawler" throws a solid knee to the jaw of Clark Martel. Kirk Allen attempts a knee but is taken down by a basic trip. "Metal Jaw" lands in half guard. Clark Martel tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. "Metal Jaw" hits Kirk with some punches to the side of the head. Round 3 is over.
