Round 1 Clark Martel connects with a series of punches forcing Jamal into a clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Round 2 Coleman throws a cross that easily dodged by Clark Martel. Coleman plows through Clark Martel with a driving double leg takedown. Martel shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Jamal presses the action while in the guard, but Clark is able to switch him into mount. Clark Martel secures his position. Clark secures his position. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Martel takes a punch and goes to the mat, Jamal pounces into side control. Martel recovers quickly. Jamal Coleman slides his knee across the body of "Metal Jaw" and takes full mount. Clark pulls Coleman close to avoid a flurry of strikes. Clark gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Jamal tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Clark Martel tripods up, causing Jamal to fall forward. A scramble ensues and Clark Martel is able to take guard. Round 3 is finished.
