Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Thompson works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Noah Thompson escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Brody parries Noah Thompsons jab and connect with a cross. Noah Thompson snaps back the head of Brody Jones with a stiff jab. Noah Thompson circles Jones, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Noah connects with a right that puts Brody off balance tumbling to the mat, as Noah towers over him. Brody Jones thrusts his leg into Noahs knee while grounded. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Brody Jones fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Thompson to a corner. Thompson swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Jones passes through Noahs guard into mount. Jones telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Noah Thompson gives up his back to stop the attempt. Noah Thompson starts to wiggle out of back control, Jones lets him escape putting them both on their feet. A couple of powerful body shots forces Thompson back to the corner. Brody Jones swims to double underhooks. Thompson cannot stop Brody Jones from stepping back and taking him to the floor. Brody passes through Thompsons guard into mount. Thompson gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Brody Jones tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Jones peppers Thompson with several shots to the face. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Jones snaps back the head of Noah Thompson with a stiff jab. A couple of powerful body shots forces Noah Thompson back to the corner. Brody Jones swims to double underhooks. Noah Thompson cannot stop Brody Jones from stepping back and taking him to the floor. Jones drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Jones defends a triangle attempt, throwing Noahs straight leg over his head and makes a move for side control. Noah Thompson is able to hold him to half guard.
