Round 1 Murilo is hit with a jab-cross and then brutally shoved to the ground. Geraldo falls into his guard, delivering a strong punch as he does so. Azevedo is caught in a can opener and opens his guard. He lands two quick strikes but Geraldo transitions to half guard. Defensor is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Defensor secures his position. Murilo gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Defensor peppers Azevedo with several shots to the face. Defensor tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Two quick punches opens up Geraldo Defensor for a takedown. Azevedo pushes in and executes a forward foot sweep that puts Geraldo Defensor on his back. Azevedo falls into side control. Geraldo Defensor is wisely defending a kimura. Azevedo attempts to take it but Geraldo Defensor is having none of it, though Azevedo has used the chance the slide into mount. Azevedo maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Geraldo gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Azevedo tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Murilo lands a series of heavy punches forcing Geraldo Defensor to roll to his back, giving Murilo mount. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Geraldo Defensor snaps back the head of Murilo with a stiff jab. Murilo narrowly dodges a cross from Geraldo, but falls catching him in his guard. Defensor drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Geraldo presses the action while in the guard, but Azevedo is able to switch him into mount. Murilo throws some outside strikes at Defensor. Defensor gives his back up trying to escape the mount. The round comes to an end.
