Katashi connects with a series of punches forcing Roy into a clinch. Roy receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. Roy attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Yakuta pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Poulin presses forward and grazes Katashi with a combo. Katashi wants none of the stand up and clinches with Poulin to then savagely throw him down to the ground. Katashi drops a huge strike to Poulins chin, landing into his guard. Katashi Yakuta takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Poulins guard. It doesn't pay off as Poulin makes his way to standing. A shot catches Poulin off balance and off guard. Yakuta spears him but can only manage to make it to guard. Roy Poulin attempts an armbar. Katashi time a spin perfectly landing a strong overhand as he works his way into Poulins guard. Yakuta lands blow after unanswered blow from being caught in the guard. Roy taps out to the strikes.
