Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Miller receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. Hamilton connects with a right that puts Earl Miller off balance tumbling to the mat, as Hamilton towers over him. Skip drops a huge strike to Earls chin, landing into his guard. Skip takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Earls guard. It doesn't pay off as Earl Miller makes his way to standing. Skip takes a punch while shooting but executes the takedown and ends up in Earls guard. Hamilton attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Earl slips out of it at the last moment. Hamilton passes through Earls guard into mount. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Earl snaps back the head of Skip with a stiff jab. Skip snaps back the head of Earl Miller with a stiff jab. Skip Hamilton gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Earl Miller tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Skip Hamilton starts to wiggle out of back control, Earl lets him escape putting them both on their feet. The fighters circle each other. Skip Hamilton sends Miller to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Round 2 is finished.

Skip drops a few strong punches, opening up Millers guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Miller gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Miller starts to wiggle out of back control, Hamilton lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Skip Hamilton catches a leg kick from Miller, and puts him on the mat.
