Round 1 Perry lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Peixoto drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Craig Perry sets a guillotine choke but Peixoto slips out at the last moment. Peixoto is now caught in guard. Perry attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Craig strikes with a straight front kick. Craig Perry chips away at Alberto with a series of kicks to the legs. Craig Perry circles Peixoto, then lans a push kick that knocks him to the floor. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 A left high kick from Perry keeps Alberto at bay. Craig narrowly dodges a cross from Alberto Peixoto, but falls catching him in his guard. While caught in the guard, Alberto opens up a cut on Perry with a devestating elbow. Craig Perry attempts to transition to the butterfly guard but Peixoto is too quick and takes half guard. Craig Perry tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Alberto slams his knee into Craig Perrys ribs. Alberto opens a cut over the eye of Craig Perry. The doctor takes a look at it, and says he's okay to continue. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Perry throws a cross that easily dodged by Peixoto. Alberto narrowly dodges a cross from Perry, but falls catching him in his guard. Alberto dodges some ground strikes from Craig, and sends a few back of his own. Craig presses the action while in the guard, but Peixoto is able to switch him into mount. Alberto punishes Perry with a series of strikes from the mount. Craig gives his back up trying to escape the mount. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
