After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Joe lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Joe attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Caio pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Lombardi connects with a right that puts Wiltsie off balance tumbling to the mat, as Lombardi towers over him. Caio drops a huge strike to Joe Wiltsies chin, landing into his guard. Joe attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Lombardi catches a leg kick from Joe Wiltsie, and puts him on the mat. Caio tries to pass guard but Joe Wiltsie stops him with a well timed punch. Lombardi lands blow after unanswered blow from being caught in the guard. Wiltsie taps out to the strikes.
