Round 1 Marcos snaps back the head of Turcotte with a stiff jab. Del Turcotte is hit with a jab-cross and then brutally shoved to the ground. Civita falls into his guard, delivering a strong punch as he does so. Del is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Marcos. A can opener from Marcos opens up Turcottes guard. Marcos lands two quick strikes as he moves into half guard. "Shogun" is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Del Turcotte gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Turcotte starts to wiggle out of back control, "Shogun" lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Civita circles Del, landing jabs at will. Del throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Marcos Civita puts Del on the mat giving his back up. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Civita works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Del Turcotte attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Civita pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Civita snaps back the head of Del with a stiff jab. Turcotte circles Civita, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Civita connects with a strong right hook. Marcos Civita connects with a right that puts Del Turcotte off balance tumbling to the mat, as Marcos Civita towers over him. Turcotte thrusts his leg into Civitas knee while grounded. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Turcotte lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. A jab from "Shogun" is blocked and a cross is returned by Del. After dodging a jab-cross, Turcotte lands a kick to the liver of Civita who steps back and begins to take a knee. Turcotte rushes forward to capitalize but Civita stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Del Turcotte connects with a strong right hook. Del Turcotte throws a cross that easily dodged by "Shogun". A left high kick from Del keeps "Shogun" at bay. Del lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. Del Turcotte lands a solid kick to the inside thigh of Civita. Del throws a cross that easily dodged by Marcos. Turcotte fakes a left cross, and follows up with a right head kick. "Shogun" does not see it coming, and gets put down cold. This one is all over.
