Round 1 Griffin starts to put on the pressure, forcing Meira back into the corner. Griffin takes advantage and clinches. Griffin executes a sweeping throw, planting Tiago on the mat. Jordan Griffin lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Jordan slides his knee across the body of Tiago Meira and takes full mount. Tiago Meira shifts his head and hips to keep Griffin off balance and unable to land strikes. Tiago Meira attempts to escape mount but has no luck. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Tiago Meira throws a cross that easily dodged by Jordan Griffin. A jab from Meira is blocked and a cross is returned by Griffin. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Jordan Griffin places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Jordan Griffin lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Tiago receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Griffin. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Meira escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Meira circles Griffin, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Jordan takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Tiago connects with a strong right hook. Jordan presses forward and grazes Meira with a combo. Meira wants none of the stand up and clinches with Jordan to then savagely throw him down to the ground. Meira lays into Jordans thighs with some well timed kicks while Jordan is grounded. The bell signals the end of round 3.
