Round 1
Colon throws a few strikes allowing him to clinch with his opponent. An attempt at a clinch takedown from Vasquez is defended well by Colon. Vasquez grabs an overhook, steps to the side to land two haymaker body shots, then an uppercut. Vasquez returns to the clinch. "OF" breaks away from the clinch while delivering a knee. A jab from "OF" is blocked and a cross is returned by Brock. Vasquez eats a strong cross as Brock Colon moves into the clinch. Jesus works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Brock is able to work to two overhooks and lands some strong knees and short hooks. "The Rubber Eggplant" begins to thrust his shoulder in the face of "OF". Round 1 is over.

Round 2
Colon connects with a strong right hook. Colon starts to put on the pressure, forcing Jesus Vasquez back into the corner. Colon takes advantage and clinches. Vasquez lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. "The Rubber Eggplant" places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Jesus Vasquez receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. Jesus Vasquez tries to break away from the clinch to no avail. Brock has him on lockdown, peppering him with stiff shots. The round comes to an end.

Round 3
Jesus plows through Colon with a driving double leg takedown. Jesus Vasquez pulls out of the guard of Colon, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of Colon. Jesus Vasquez backs his arms out of Brock Colons guard, leaving just his head caught. Jesus Vasquez slips to the side and gets dominate control. "OF" lands a few stiff elbows from side control. "The Rubber Eggplant" is wisely defending a kimura. Jesus attempts to take it but "The Rubber Eggplant" is having none of it, though Jesus has used the chance the slide into mount. Jesus Vasquez maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. "OF" secures his position. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
