Round 2 Sherk connects with a series of punches forcing Hayden into a clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Hayden escapes the clinch and creates some distance. "The Violet" circles Hayden, mixing jabs with body shots. "The Violet" sprawls a takedown attempt from Cameron. Cameron eats several punches on the way back to his feet. Round 3 Joey Sherk snaps back the head of Cameron with a stiff jab. Sherk narrowly dodges a cross from Cameron, but falls catching him in his guard. Cameron Hayden drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Cameron Hayden presses the action while in the guard, but Joey is able to switch him into mount. Cameron Hayden attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Joey Sherk telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Cameron gives up his back to stop the attempt.Round 3 comes to a close.
