Round 1 Brends fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Butch. Brends Arkhipov gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. Butch Hughes attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Brends Arkhipov pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. "Pretend Hen" circles Hughes, landing jabs and crosses at will. Arkhipov parries Butchs jab and connect with a cross. "Pretend Hen" circles Hughes, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Hughes presses forward and grazes Arkhipov with a combo. Arkhipov wants none of the stand up and clinches with Hughes to then savagely throw him down to the ground. Arkhipov lays into Butch Hughes with some stomps. Butch Hughes can't handle it as the ref stops the fight.
