Round 1 Logan fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Cox. Logan works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Cole dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with "Weapon X " standing over him. Logan attempts to drop a fist on Cox, but misses and lands in his guard. Cox dodges some ground strikes from Thomas, and sends a few back of his own. Cole Cox goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Logan Thomas slips out at the last second. Round 2 The fighters circle each other. Logan Thomas takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Cole Cox ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Thomas to the mat, and his back. Thomas eats a few stiff shots from Cox, and rolls giving mount to stop the ref from ending the fight. Cox maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Cox telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Logan Thomas gives up his back to stop the attempt.Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Cole Cox locks around the waist of Thomas. He sneaks his foot behind Logan Thomass and trips him to the floor, taking side control. Cole Cox slides his knee across the body of Thomas and takes full mount. Logan Thomas attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Logan Thomas gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Cole tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Cole Cox throws a few punches opening Logan up to a deep rear naked choke. Logan can only tap out.
