Round 1 Turcotte stuffs a shot from Komatsu and hits him with an outside body shot. Komatsu gives up on the takedown and pulls guard. Turcotte drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Tyrone takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Juro Komatsus guard. It doesn't pay off as Juro Komatsu makes his way to standing. Juro takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Tyrone keeps Juro at a distance with some well timed jabs. Juro Komatsu attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. Tyrone Turcotte takes advantage of the moment taking side control. Turcotte lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Tyrone Turcotte throws his knee into the ribs of Juro Komatsu. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Juro receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Turcotte. Juro Komatsu drops down and thrusts forward with a textbook double leg takedown. Turcotte attempts an armbar from the bottom, but Juro Komatsu slips out at the last moment. Tyrone attempts an armbar from the bottom, but Juro Komatsu slips out at the last moment. Tyrone is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Juro. Tyrone Turcotte sets in an omaplata, forcing Komatsu to roll through, giving Tyrone Turcotte side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 The fighters circle each other. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Juro places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Juro works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Komatsu grabs the plum and pulls Tyrone Turcottes face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Komatsu lets go of the hold and lands a hook. Juro Komatsu grabs for a clinch but Tyrone grazes him with an uppercut. Juro Komatsu staggers back, then surprises Tyrone with a powerful superman punch. Komatsu circles Tyrone Turcotte, keeping him at bay with quick strikes. Turcotte attempts to clinch, but Juro connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Round 3 is over.
