Round 1 Ryan Lee parries a jab but is hit with a powerful knee to that midsection that drops him to the floor. Kevin Lee lays into Ryans thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Ryan Lee does so. Kevin Lee circles Ryan, then lans a push kick that knocks him to the floor. Kevin Lee lays into Ryans thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Ryan does so. Ryan attempts a striking combination, but Kevin forces the clinch. Kevin Lee is able to work to two overhooks and lands some strong knees and short hooks. Ryan attempts a knee but is taken down by a basic trip. Kevin Lee lands in half guard. Kevin drops an elbow onto the forehead of Ryan Lee. Kevin tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Ryan lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Kevin. A jab from Kevin Lee is blocked and a cross is returned by Ryan. Kevin lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. Ryan weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty hook. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Kevin gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Kevin Lee carefully protects himself from Ryan Lees strikes. Kevin starts to wiggle out of back control, Ryan Lee lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Kevin shoots but Ryan Lee stuffs it, eventually working in a whizzer and landing some sharp knees that allows him to move to side mount. Kevin is wisely defending a kimura. Ryan Lee attempts to take it but Kevin is having none of it, though Ryan Lee has used the chance the slide into mount. Ryan secures his position. Kevin lands a good elbow as Ryan lowers his torso. Round 3 is finished.
