"jj" connects with a series of punches forcing Gomez into a clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Perry attempts to pull guard, but slips, putting him on the ground, and with Gomez standing over him. Chucho Gomez attempts to drop a fist on Andy Perry, but misses and lands in his guard. Chucho Gomez tries to pass guard but "jj" stops him with a well timed punch. Chucho Gomez drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Gomez tries to pass guard but Andy stops him with a well timed punch. Andy Perry works the rubber guard on Gomez, eventually allowing an omaplata to be set in. Gomez quickly taps out.
