Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Carter throws a solid knee to the jaw of Pat Blais. "The Mazo" grabs the plum and pulls Pat Blaiss face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. "The Mazo" lets go of the hold and lands a hook. Pat throws a cross that easily dodged by Maurice Carter. The fighters circle each other. "The Mazo" lands a solid kick to the front leg of Pat. Pat Blais parries a jab but is hit with a powerful knee to that midsection that drops him to the floor. Carter lays into Pat Blaiss thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Blais does so. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Pat throws a short elbow at Carter. Maurice breaks away from the clinch while delivering a knee. Maurice throws a cross that easily dodged by Pat Blais. Carter circles Blais, landing jabs at will. Maurice circles Pat Blais, landing jabs and crosses at will. Pat attempts a takedown but slips, and "The Mazo" backs away. "The Mazo" is standing over Pat. Maurice lays into Pat Blais with some stomps. Pat Blais can't handle it as the ref stops the fight.
