Round 1 Bernier sends Shane to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. A right hand from Parkers guard angers Bernier who returns the favor with a powerful left hand. Jacob Bernier passes through Shanes guard into mount. Shane gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Jacob tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Shane starts to wiggle out of back control, Bernier lets him escape putting them both on their feet. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Parker receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. While tied up, Shane Parker is met with a hard uppercut. Shane parries a jab but leaves himself open for a uppercut that sends him to the canvas. Bernier drops a huge strike to Parkers chin, landing into his guard. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Jacob eats a stiff kick to the face. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Jacob drops down and thrusts forward with a textbook double leg takedown. Bernier backs out of the guard, and chooses to stand with his opponent, allowing him to his feet. Bernier ducks and weaves through a quick combo from Shane Parker and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. After dodging a jab-cross, Jacob Bernier lands a kick to the liver of Shane who steps back and begins to take a knee. Jacob Bernier rushes forward to capitalize but Shane stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Jacob narrowly dodges a cross from Shane, but falls catching him in his guard.Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 After dodging a jab-cross, Parker lands a kick to the liver of Jacob who steps back and begins to take a knee. Parker rushes forward to capitalize but Jacob stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Parker lands some solid knees to the legs of Jacob Bernier from the clinch. Parker places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Shane escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Jacob eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Shane Parker. Bernier throws a cross that easily dodged by Parker. Jacob Bernier is staggered by a jab to the chin. Shane Parker parries a jab but leaves himself open for a hard cross that sends him to the canvas. Jacob follows with a falling punch into Shanes guard.Round 3 comes to a close.
