Round 1 "Great Hair" is cut open under the eye by a standing elbow strike. Christians legs are wobbled by a strong hook to the temple then a shovel punch to the jaw. After dodging a jab, Consu Ruiz lands a kick to the liver of Christian who steps back only to take a knee. Consu Ruiz rushes forward to capitalize but Christian falls to his back to avoid the onslaught. Consu lays into Spencers thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Christian does so. Consu is hit with a hook and a shovel punch and stumbles backward. Christian tries to press the action but is met with a push kick from Consu that puts him on the floor. Consu Ruiz dances around Christians legs and throws a hard kick to the body. Consu lays into Christian Spencers thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Spencer does so. "Great Hair" parries a jab but is hit with a powerful knee to the midsection. Consu Ruiz connects with a hard right hand putting Christian Spencer on the mat. Consu Ruiz goes down with him into side control. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Ruiz parries Spencers jab and connect with a cross. Christian Spencer fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Consu. Christian Spencer lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Consu is able to work to two overhooks and lands some strong knees and short hooks. "Great Hair" recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Consu Ruiz lands a powerful knee to the face of Christian Spencer. Consu Ruiz connects with a stiff knee to the chin. "Great Hair" is dazed on the mat. A solid kick bruises the leg of "Great Hair". As Spencer attempts to keep Consu in front of him, Consu grabs "Great Hairs" ankle and viciously lays into his thigh with multiple kicks. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Spencer lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a heavy counter hook. Consu Ruiz sends Christian Spencer to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Ruiz drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Consu Ruiz defends a triangle attempt, throwing Christian Spencers straight leg over his head and makes a move for side control. Christian Spencer is able to hold him to half guard. Consu slams his knee into "Great Hairs" ribs. Consu Ruiz slips out of half guard and into side control. Spencer gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Christian Spencer starts to wiggle out of back control, Consu Ruiz lets him escape putting them both on their feet. "Great Hair" is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. The bell signals the end of round 3.
