Javier Jimenez sprawls a takedown attempt from Chelo. Chelo eats several punches on the way back to his feet. Chelo Munoz throws a powerful left hook, but is met with a strong jab from Javier. Chelo lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. Jimenez sprawls a takedown attempt from Chelo. Chelo eats several punches on the way back to his feet. Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Chelo stomps the feet of Javier. Chelo recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Javier Jimenez is staggered by a jab to the chin. The fighters circle each other. Javier Jimenez is staggered by a jab to the chin. Chelo attempts to pull guard, but slips, putting him on the ground, and with Javier Jimenez standing over him. Jimenez attempts to drop a fist on Chelo, but misses and lands in his guard. Munoz attempts an armbar from the bottom, but Jimenez slips out at the last moment. Munoz begins to work the rubber guard. Munoz shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. "Pretty Boy" sets in an omaplata, forcing Javier to roll through, giving "Pretty Boy" side control. The round comes to an end.
