Round 1 Izanagi connects with a strong right hook. Ozu takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Consu Ruiz lands a hook to the body. Consu Ruiz fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Ozu. Consu Ruiz throws a solid knee to the jaw of Ozu. Izanagi Ozu dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Consu Ruiz standing over him. Consu Ruiz lays into Izanagis thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Izanagi Ozu does so. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Consu dodges a jab and lands a kick to the face of Ozu. Consu connects with a strong right hook. Ozu lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Consu. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Izanagi is rocked by a standing elbow strike. Consu lands a hook to the body. Izanagi Ozu is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, Consu Ruiz prepares to pounce, but Izanagi Ozu gets his bearings just in time. Ruiz lays into Ozus thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Izanagi Ozu does so. A looping right hook from Consu Ruiz sends Izanagi Ozu to the mat. As Izanagi attempts to keep Consu in front of him, Consu grabs Izanagis ankle and viciously lays into his thigh with multiple kicks. Ruiz lays into Izanagi Ozus thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Ozu does so. Ozus legs are wobbled by a strong hook to the temple then a shovel punch to the jaw. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
