Round 1
Clarence sends Rene Gamboa to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Clarence Wright is working a furious pace inside of the guard of Rene. Clarence Wright backs his arms out of Rene Gamboas guard, leaving just his head caught. Clarence Wright slips to the side and gets dominate control. Rene Gamboa takes a few knees to the body while under Clarences side control. Clarence Wright slides his knee across the body of Rene and takes full mount. Gamboa attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Clarence Wright secures his position. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 2
Rene sprawls a takedown attempt from Wright. Wright eats several punches on the way back to his feet. Clarence connects with a hard right hand putting Gamboa on the mat. Clarence goes down with him into side control. Clarence lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Gamboa gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Clarence Wright tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Wright lands undefended strikes to the side of Rene Gamboas head. The ref stops the fight.
