Round 1 Lazaro lands a hook to the body then a straight cross to the sternum. Jodoin takes a punch and goes to the mat, Lazaro pounces into side control. Jodoin recovers quickly. Lazaro lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Jodoin gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Lazaro slides off to the side of Jodoin and lands several heavy knees into his ribs. Before he can lose the position, Lazaro switches back to full back control. Ashton Jodoin starts to wiggle out of back control, Lazaro lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Caneca snaps back the head of Ashton with a stiff jab. Lazaro keeps Ashton at a distance with some well timed jabs. Lazaro grabs for a clinch but Ashton Jodoin grazes him with an uppercut. Lazaro staggers back, then surprises Ashton Jodoin with a powerful superman punch. Caneca ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Ashton Jodoin to the mat, and his back. Jodoin tries to stand up but Lazaro plants him back down with several strikes. Jodoin starts to wiggle out of back control, Caneca lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Caneca sends Jodoin to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Lazaro drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Jodoin attempts a sloppy triangle attempt allowing Lazaro Caneca the chance to pass to side control. Caneca lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Lazaro Caneca slides his knee across the body of Jodoin and takes full mount. Jodoin attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Lazaro secures his position. Round 3 comes to a close.
