Round 2 Gil Hughes narrowly dodges a cross from Cox, but falls catching him in his guard. Shannon Cox pushes down Hughess leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Shannon tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Shannon slips out of half guard and into side control. Gil Hughes takes a few knees to the body while under Shannons side control. Round 3 "BRAK" snaps back the head of Gil with a stiff jab. "apollo creed" gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Shannon Cox peppers "apollo creed" with several shots to the face. Hughes is able to make it back to the standing position. Hughes keeps Cox at a distance with some well timed jabs. Hughes dodges a jab and throws a kick to the midsection of Cox. "apollo creed" is hit with a hook and a shovel punch and stumbles backward. "BRAK" tries to press the action but is met with a push kick from "apollo creed" that puts him on the floor. The bell signals the end of round 3.
