Round 1 Carlos takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Carlos Vasquez is staggered by a jab to the chin. The fighters circle each other. Georges Charpentier keeps Carlos at a distance with some well timed jabs. Carlos Vasquez snaps back the head of "Le Couer Noir" with a stiff jab. Charpentier snaps back the head of Vasquez with a stiff jab. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Vasquez connects with a strong right hook. The fighters circle each other. Carlos Vasquez throws a cross that easily dodged by "Le Couer Noir". Georges Charpentier takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Carlos parries Charpentiers jab and connect with a cross. A sloppy scooping ankle block is pulled of by "Le Couer Noir". Vasquez is able to pull him into his guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Georges Charpentier throws a cross that easily dodged by Carlos Vasquez. Vasquez fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Georges. Vasquez drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Georges sets a guillotine choke but Vasquez slips out at the last moment. Vasquez is now caught in guard. Carlos Vasquez takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Georges Charpentiers guard. It doesn't pay off as Georges makes his way to standing. Vasquez parries a jab but leaves himself open for a hard cross that sends him to the canvas. Georges Charpentier follows with a falling punch into Carloss guard. Charpentier tries to pass guard but Vasquez stops him with a well timed punch. Vasquez shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Carlos dodges some ground strikes from "Le Couer Noir", and sends a few back of his own. The bell signals the end of round 3.
