Round 1 A welt begins to form under Gerharts eye after a strong cross-hook landed from "Rides a Pony". Gerhart Newton is staggered by a jab to the chin. The fighters circle each other. Gerhart attempts a lazy shot, which Jones sprawls, eventually taking Gerhart back. Pany Jones slides off to the side of Gerhart Newton and lands several heavy knees into his ribs. Before he can lose the position, Pany Jones switches back to full back control. Pany lands a series of heavy punches forcing Newton to roll to his back, giving Pany mount. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Gerhart Newton unleashes several furious punches at Pany. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Pany Jones drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Gerhart sets a guillotine choke but Pany Jones slips out at the last moment. Pany Jones is now caught in guard. Gerhart backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Pany attempts to clinch, but Newton connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Gerhart opens up on Pany Jones with frequent peppering strikes. Gerhart Newton circles Jones, keeping him at bay with quick strikes. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Pany Jones catches a leg kick from Gerhart, and puts him on the mat. Newton is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Pany Jones. Pany Jones drops some elbows from guard, giving him a brief moment to switch over to side control. Gerhart Newton takes a few knees to the body while under "Rides a Ponys" side control. Jones slides his knee across the body of Gerhart Newton and takes full mount. Pany secures his position. "Rides a Pony" punishes Gerhart with a series of strikes from the mount. Round 3 comes to a close.
