Round 1
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Tetsuo Izumi works Chidinma Igbindedion into the cage from the clinch. Tetsuo Izumi presses his head under Chidinmas chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Izumi decides to abandon the clinch by pulling guard and bringing Chidinma Igbindedion with him. Tetsuo begins to work the rubber guard. Izumi lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Tetsuo begins to posture on his side. Chidinma Igbindedion lands a couple of outside hooks and Tetsuo returns to the guard. Tetsuo Izumi attempts to create some space from his guard, but Chidinma sees the opening and passes to full mount. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
A wild hook from Tetsuo Izumi is ducked by Igbindedion who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Tetsuo is staggered by a jab to the chin. Igbindedion takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Chidinma Igbindedion connects with a strong right hook. Chidinma Igbindedion circles Tetsuo Izumi, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Igbindedion is staggered by a jab to the chin.Round 2 comes to a close.

Round 3
Chidinma connects with a strong right hook. Igbindedion narrowly dodges a cross from Tetsuo Izumi, but falls catching him in his guard. Igbindedion lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Izumi presses the action while in the guard, but Chidinma Igbindedion is able to switch him into mount. Igbindedion secures his position. Chidinma Igbindedion swings his leg over locking in a textbook armbar. Tetsuo Izumi taps out.
