Round 1 Ihara stuffs a shot from Leon and hits him with an outside body shot. Leon gives up on the takedown and pulls guard. Long begins to posture on his side. Ihara lands a couple of outside hooks and Long returns to the guard. Mitsuo takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Leon Longs guard. It doesn't pay off as Leon makes his way to standing. Ihara lands a double jab. A welt begins to form under Mitsuo Iharas eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Leon Long. Ihara wraps around Longs waist, and drags him to his back, taking side control Long almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. "Deion" is wisely defending a kimura. Ihara attempts to take it but "Deion" is having none of it, though Ihara has used the chance the slide into mount.Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Leon Long wraps around Mitsuo Iharas waist, and drags him to his back, taking side control Leon slides his knee across the body of Mitsuo Ihara and takes full mount. Mitsuo Ihara attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Ihara gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Long peppers Mitsuo with several shots to the face. Ihara rolls to his back and turtles up. Leon Long releases hooks and steps off to the side and immediately hooks an arm with his leg. Leon Long grabs his opponents opposite arms and somersaults forward into crucifix position and applies a choke. Ihara struggles and breaks free ending up on top in side control. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Ihara connects with a hard jab as Leon Long attempts a wide outside hook. Mitsuo sends "Deion" to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Long starts to lock a triangle. Ihara postures up and Ihara settles for a few stiff chops to Leons face. Ihara postures up from guard looking for punches but Leon Long grabs both his hands and stretches him out. Using his momentum against him Leon Long back somersaults bringing Ihara with him ending with Leon Long having full mount. Long secures his position. Leon secures his position. Round 3 is finished.
Round 4 Ihara hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Mitsuo Ihara snaps back the head of Leon Long with a stiff jab. Mitsuo Ihara ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Long to the mat, and his back. Mitsuo tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. "Deion" is able to make it back to the standing position. Mitsuo is hit with two hard punches to his face. Mitsuo laughs off the punches. Leon Long hits an uppercut to the head of Mitsuo Ihara followed by a hard hook. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 5 Mitsuo catches a leg kick from Long, and puts him on the mat. Leon is almost caught in a omoplata but is able to work his way back to guard. Ihara tries to pick up Long for a powerbomb, but Long releases his guard and ends up in stand up. Long lands a quick elbow, cross that floors Ihara. The fighters circle each other. Mitsuo tries to hyperextend the knee of Leon with a kick to the kneecap. Leon hops back to avoid it. Ihara wraps around Leons waist, and drags him to his back, taking side control "Deion" takes a few knees to the body while under Iharas side control. A knee to belly allows "Deion" to twist from his back, pulling Mitsuo off balance. "Deion" then switches him to guard and stands up. "Deion" allows Mitsuo to stand.Round 5 comes to a close.
