Round 1 "Napalm" connects with a teep to the face of "Proof Positive". After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Russell drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Scorza sets a guillotine choke but Russell slips out at the last moment. Russell is now caught in guard. Scorza attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Matthew eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Scorza. Rodrigo snaps back the head of Russell with a stiff jab. Rodrigo Scorza tries to hyperextend the knee of Matthew with a kick to the kneecap. Matthew hops back to avoid it. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Rodrigo Scorza is staggered by a jab to the chin. Rodrigo Scorza winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. "Napalm" throws a few jabs at Matthew that miss the mark. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Matthew receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Rodrigo. Rodrigo attempts to grab the plum but is met by an overhand punch from "Proof Positive". The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Scorza receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Matthew. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 "Proof Positive" connects with jab cross combination. Scorza throws a cross that easily dodged by Matthew. Scorza connects with a hard jab as Russell attempts a wide outside hook. "Napalm" attempts a striking combination, but "Proof Positive" forces the clinch. An attempt at a clinch takedown from Matthew Russell is defended well by Rodrigo. Matthew Russell grabs an overhook, steps to the side to land two haymaker body shots, then an uppercut. Matthew Russell returns to the clinch. Scorza swims to double underhooks and turns Matthew Russell but Matthew Russell gets double underhooks of his own and rotates Scorza right back into the cage. Rodrigo lands some solid knees to the legs of Russell from the clinch. Rodrigo receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. Round 3 is over.
