Round 1 Race White connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Fernando. Race White narrowly dodges a cross from Gracia, but falls catching him in his guard. Race attempts a kimura from the bottom. Gracia blocks the attempt and smothers Race who transitions to an armbar attempt. Gracia is able to defend this as well and works back into guard. Gracia keeps his head down in guard to gather energy. White uses the strength of his legs to sweep him over to his back. White now has full mount. Fernando Gracia attempts to buck Race off from mount but Race keeps his base and maintains position. Race White has mount. He uses a cross face on Fernando and falls into an armbar. Fernando locks his hands together and attempts to turn into the lock. Race White transitions to a triangle choke. Fernando taps.
