Round 1 Sergio traps Marvin in the cage, landing a few strong punches to the face and body. Sergio connects with a jab cross combination. Sergio lands a looping hook to "The Martians" temple, backing him off. Sergio follows with a lead-leg kick that buckles Marvin Hudson the ground. Sergio Martinez kicks at the legs of Marvin and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Marvin to stand. "The Martian" is met with a hook cross combo that staggers him. Martinez explodes with a flurry of punches. "The Martian" is then thrown to the floor. Sergio lays into Marvins thighs with some well timed kicks while "The Martian" is grounded. Sergio Martinez kicks at the legs of Marvin Hudson and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Marvin Hudson to stand. Sergio Martinez connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. "The Martian" lands a strong outside leg kick but is met with a counter hook that leaves him unconscious on the mat.
